Coaching is a relatively new approach to helping. People often don't need a
clinical intervention but skilled coaching to:

1. Set and reach better goals.

2. Set and achieve goals more effectively and do more than
   you can on your own.

3. Improve focus to produce results more quickly.

Coaching is a contrast to Therapy where Therapy is mostly focused on removing
symptoms and improving function. The purpose of psychotherapy is
improvement in the general functioning of clients/patients as well as remedy of a
disorder,  or relief of a specific, presenting problem.

Coaching is a less diagnostic, analytical approach and the process is
characterized as a collaborative relationship encouraging action. Coaching
support  helps to solve interesting challenges. The emphasis is placed solely on
present state of mind and future potential. Action is the byword of coaching.
Coaching focuses on untapped potential in life and work. We work together for
success  to maximize fulfillment and  tap individual and group talents.

The distinctions between coaching and therapy are not all black and white but
more of a continuum.

My specialty is application of Biofeedback, mind body skills and Educational
interventions in the coaching process to help reduce the damaging effects of
stress and improve focus toward goal achievement.
